Today, my Grandma took me shopping at the mall for my birthday (even though it's not until Wednesday).
I had a lot of fun!
We went to Barnes & Noble first because it's just across from Tyrone Mall. The second I went inside I headed straight for the music section. What else would you expect? They had so many books that I wanted but I could only spend $75. Seriously, they had The Encyclopedia of Heavy Metal, Tony Iommi's book Iron Man, a couple Led Zeppelin books, a copy of I Am Ozzy, plus way too many more that I wanted. What did fully catch my attention was exactly what I was hoping they would have: Rex Brown's book Official Truth 101 Proof - The Inside Story of Pantera. They only had one on the shelf! You know I grabbed that instantly. I've just started becoming a huge fan of Pantera. And the other book that I got was Motley Crue's The Dirt. I had checked that out from the library before but it was missing pages and all kinds of stuff and falling apart. I now have my own copy of it!! I also saw Naruto Vol. 68. If they'd have had 69, I would have gotten it. Also, at Barnes & Noble they have vinyl! That's awesome.
Then, we went over to the mall and had lunch. I got a meatball sub from Subway. emotion_awesome
We went over to Old Navy and looked around. Clothing stores are boring as all hell. Let me tell you, the worst thing ever in my mind is clothes shopping. The way I do it, I find something I like, try it on, and get the hell out. If it's too small, I go get a bigger size and leave. I did run into my friend Deanna who works there.
We went to JCPenny next. I needed a pair of shorts so I got one. I also got a Super Mario shirt. xD The guys' section is the best.
We wandered around the mall a bit and found Hot Topic. I LOVE THAT STORE. They have the coolest selection of band shirts. There were so many that I wanted. I settled for a Megadeth shirt and I think it's the coolest shirt I have ever seen. It's got Vic Rattlehead in a bunch of famous paintings and it's ********' BRILLIANT!
And then I waited for like ten minutes while my grandma got tea that she really didn't need to buy. rolleyes
All in all, I think it was the most fun I've had at the mall in a long time.
