As an infant, Yvonne was an orphan with little to call her own but a pacifier and a blanket. She was adopted by two men who were very much in love; Alex Fereday and Florian Brandt. Unable to get legally married at the time or conceive a child, they had made do with what they could get. By the time Yvonne was three, they had all moved to an upscale neighborhood that was close to where Florian worked. They were somewhat reclusive but were always friendly with the neighbours, even if a few weren't so nice back.
As the toddler grew into a young girl, she was put into public school to get an education much like any other child. She made friends easily with her tomboyish attitude and had average grades. One day however, both of her parents came to pick her up after school and word got around that she had gay parents. The next few weeks were not so great for her. Yvonne quickly learned the sting of alienation. Kids would make fun of her for it, calling her names and push her around. Even kids she once called friends had turned away from her because of rumors that were spread. Often times she would come back home with bruises from fights or be in detention from something that teachers thought was her fault. For a good part of her life, she was aggressive and defensive of her parents whenever bought up in conversation or otherwise.
As the months would pass she had become more and more hateful and isolated, not even opening up when she had a fresh new start at another school. This all changed however when she had met who would become a longtime friend. She was a new student who originated in Afghanistan and was also picked on for nothing other than from where she was from; not even seeing past it to who she was. This similarity brought the two together and with each other, they would survive the taunts and jeering of the ignorant. It was not long until her father, Alex, had broken his leg permanently on a hiking trip. This was when Yvonne would make a promise to herself to become a better person; not only to herself but to others as well. Her grades had gone up and so did her tolerance of her piers. Eventually she was the track star in her high school and top ten in her class. Her majors were physics and biology and her parents couldn't be more proud. After the day was done, she would often be home reading about the human anatomy and natural cures to expand her knowledge and excel in the classes she would take to become a doctor or surgeon. She was in the beginning years of college at the time. She had never finished her studies due to the increasing threat that was soon to become the chaos of frantic humans and what would be known as zombies becoming an all too real idea. Sometimes I'm bound to..
She has a very happy-go-lucky kind of personality and can be very kind. However, she does have that spiteful side if you purposefully hurt her and will often get back at you in a passive aggressive kind of way. Always thinking the best of people but not so naive as to believe that no one has ulterior motives or is incapable of lying. she is quite outgoing and one will often find her in a calmed mood. One side of her she does not like showing though is her bookworm side. If not watched, she will often be reading anything her hands could grab, whether it be a pamphlet or a burnt book; her favorite things to read being old plays like "King Lear" or "The Importance of Being Earnest". There's always somebody above us..
