I lead a full life,
have and always will.
Although the boundaries push,
a whole lot still.

I wanna grow,
I wanna succeed.
But the walls be so high,
they don't let me leave.

Why do I try?
Why do I fail?
I don't know,
the future prevails.

I swear to ya',
I don't believe in angels.
I pray every night looking for an answer,
but it leaves me in tangles.

I never thought it would come to this,
im beggin' for money.
Momma said love 'aint in material thangs,
but all she really wanted was a taste of honey.

Man this song 'aint for profit,
even if it was these rhymes are true.
Straight from the heart,
not from the wallet like others do.

Hear me out,
this god of yours is a fool.
Tragedy still flows,
I know 'cus im not a tool.

I hear kids sayin',
"I wanna grow up to be rich!"
truth is,
that's if fame throw's you a lucky pitch.

I wanna be all I can be,
but lets be realistic.
My strength is so bad,
that sounds like im being sarcastic.

My words flow,
they leave a trail of knowledge.
Take my advice,
it might just get you to college.

Momma always said,
"always think positive things."
but to tell you the truth,
her mind is goin' and her words are like flings

I prayed to God sayin',
"give me a chance."
He responds with,
making me get money off the street with a dance.

I ask of you,
why?
I don't hurt anyone or anything,
but I get beat as blood red as a tie?

Please give me an answer,
ive waited twelve years.
I try to get hints,

I love everything,
I respect the world.
But life tries to hurt me,
