So I had to start out with annotating poems, then writing essays for each poems about the poems and how they relate to Hamlet and the theme I chose, then I had to organize all the pages and make it all fancy. Now I am busy on the illustrations for the cover page and the illustration page(fancy that). I had no idea what to draw for the cover page so I decided to draw what everyone thinks of when they hear Hamlet. The famous soliloquy that opens with... To be or not to be.
So I just google that for ideas and I found the version of Hamlet starring Kenneth Branagh. Which just so happens to be the version we are watching in class. So I drew it on my cover.. It isnt a complete drawing, really just a line art with a little shading... but I think it will do. I hope my teacher enjoys my project... I am worried he won't. I am not very good at writing essays but I did my best.

"Art is crucial in changing society. It is important to realize that life itself is art. The problem is that we compartmentalize everything. The artist is not a special kind of person but everyone is or ought to be a special kind of artist. We are whole and we live our lives with art and out of that there may come some specific creation that we call art, but everything about being human is an art."
