FLOWER BOY NEXT DOOR
This is a K-Drama from www.viki.com. Here is the description from that website.
"Dok Mi is a young woman with a comfortable routine – every morning, she wakes up and spies on her good-looking neighbor, Tae Joon, from her window and voyeuristically copies his morning routine. Unable to face people, Dok Mi works as a freelance copy editor with as little interaction with the outside world as possible. But her comfortable, predictable existence comes to a halt when her peeping is discovered by Enrique, Tae Joon’s younger brother who returns from a year in Spain and moves in with him. Suddenly, Dok Mi finds herself surrounded by a menagerie of young, good-looking neighbors who will not let her live her life in solitude. Jin Rak, a web comic writer who lives next door with his drawing partner, Dong Hoon, is intrigued by Dok Mi and develops a new web series about her. Watanabe, an aspiring chef, also moves in on the same floor. Will these pretty boys allow Dok Mi to return to her reclusive lifestyle or will they force her to come out of her shell?"
I am in love with this drama and I strongly suggest that YOU watch it. It is really funny. My friend irl got me to watch it by telling the basic summary of this (which is right up there). I watched it (still haven't finished it), and suggested told my other friend to watch it. And now, she's going to be watching it. DUDE. IT'S FUNNY. I guess it's appropriate..? It's basically a love story with some comedy. And some stubborn obstacles. The protagonist, Go Dok Mi (some of my friends will connect this to the random statuses they see from me talking about her..), is really shy and insecure b/c of her high school year. She was bullied by her friend, Cha Do Hwi, b/c of a simple, tiny misunderstanding. (That's what I think, anyway.) Do Hwi says that she and the English teacher were having some sort of affair, blah blah blah, but it wasn't true. Dok Mi was superb in writing and I guess her ex-bff got jealous b/c of that, so she caused some drama and trouble for her. That's bullpoopie, eh? Friends don't do that to friends. But what can I say?
NO BULLYING, GUYS. Actually.. I've been bullied before... Even though I put a smile on my face and say it's okay, it's not. It hurts.
Boy. I got offtrack... Anyhoo.. Watch the drama!!
