Luis nods, picking the other one up,"So....which way are we heading?"
"Chris and Piers probably are doing what we are now. They're the closest to us. We go to the stairs, they're in the first room to the right of the stairs."
He nods,"Alright. You should have the honors, Captain."
He motions to the door with a smirk on his face. I sigh, but can't help laugh. Going to the door, there seem to be none around it. I open it quickly, scissors in one hand. Running out, I see that the zombies are now by the stairs. Of course, couldn't wait a few seconds longer so we could run past. We look at each other and nod, the two of us running at the zombies. They start to grab at us when we get in their range. I dodge and cut my way through. We get to the stairs and run up, skipping every other one to get up faster. At the top, we slow down. I take the lead again, looking around. Suddenly, a hoard to my left charges,"Run for the door!"
Luis does as I say. When he gets to the door, it opens. We run in, then the door is slammed. When I turn, I see that Chris was at the door. A sigh of relief escapes me. Pearing around the room, I see that Chris and Piers the only ones in the classroom. I look at Chris who talks when he sees my confusion,"We we're on our way back from the computer lab. They got to us on our way back. We we're the only two in our class that made it."
I nod,"We want to get Claire and Ada. You we're closer, so we started here. Ada usually has lunch now with Claire."
Then it hits me. The lunch room is probably the worst place to be in this situation. The chances of them still being alive. Chris doesn't show concern,"I was able to call Claire. She said Ada and her ran when it happened. They made it into the girl's bathroom by the cafeteria."
I feel relief, but the danger isn't far from over. How are we going to get to them? Piers walks over to me,"What if we go through the air vents. We wouldn't have to deal with any zombies."
Luis smiles,"Yeah, then we can just take them back out of here, right?"
Piers shakes his head,"They can get us there, but we'd have to fight through the zombies to get out."
Luis shrugs,"It gets us there."
Chris nods,"The less we have to deal with them, the better."
