Outside of the city, we all finally relax. The BSAA was informed as was the government. What they plan to do is another story, but I doubt there were any survivors, aside from us. Chris checks on Claire who refuses help. The ride stays silent for the most part. That is, until I see something in front of us. I slow up, then stop the car. It's a person who's wayving there hands, hoping for help it looks like. Chris gets out,"Stay in here."
He starts talking to the person. Nothing really out of the ordinary, until I see something move to my left. I stare and see nothing, it must of just been me. Then, something charges at Chris. I jump out of the trunk, Piers doing the same. I yell for Claire to take the driver's seat. Before Piers or I can even get out of the car, something forces Chris to the ground. The women who Chris had been talking to is now gone. There must be two. They are lickers, of all things, but bigger than usual. They are at least two times normal size. Piers trys to pull it off of Chris. I shoot at it's head to try and help. In one swift movement, it raises it's claw, knocking away the bullet and hitting Piers. He goes flying backward, Claire running out and shooting at the other licker. It brings back it's arm, in another swift movement, hitting the bullets away and striking at Chris' stomach. I grab my knife and force it into it's head. It falls, and I help Chris get it off of him. He has three huge scars filled with blood. Chris,"Check on Piers, I'm fine."
He's ok for right now, but we have to stop the bleeding. I run over to where Piers was thrown. He still hasn't gotten up. Running over to him, I kneel on the ground. He is out cold, and has 2 huge gashes on the right side of his face.
