She smiles and rolls over. That's the end of our conversation for the night. An hour orso more of thought, then my mind drifts into sleep.

In the morning, everyone's up except for Nero. We eat before getting him up and lettin ghim eat. We split the ammo evenly and load our handguns. A few grenades we're found in one of the houses, so we each get one. After we're done reloading, Chris says that we'll leave in about 20 minutes. Claire comes over to me,"I almost forgot. I found this in one of the houses we looked through and washed it last night. Figured you might want it."
She tosses me a thin black shirt,"Thanks. You don't realize how much you miss something simple."
She smiles and goes with Chris. Putting on the shirt makes my feeling of being naked go away. Nero kept my jacket and offered to give it back, but I made him keep it for now. Jake walks over to me and tosses me his handgun. I look up, confused,"Won't you be needing this?"
He laughs,"Why would I need that? Besides, it'd be better for the kid to have it. Never know what'll happen inside that place. Teach 'um how to use it."
I nod and walk over to Nero, who's finishing his apple,"When your done, meet me outside."
Walking out, he follows me immidiately.
"You never know what's going to happen when Umbrella's involved. I'm going to teach you how to shoot before we go, just in case something happens."
He stares at the gun and nods.
