The man fell back and tried to scoot away from the transformed Sanguine,"W-w-w-what the hell!!! What are you!"

Sanguine slowly walked forward towards him, cracking his knuckles, " I...I'm a long forgotten god, and your executioner."

The man had backed up into a tree and Sanguine was upon him in an instant. Sanguine pulled back and lunged forward with his fist aiming straight for the mans head.

At the last second his hand pulled up and his fist connected with the tree shattering the tree from his fist up. The man let out a few whimpers before he passed out.

Sanguine took a few steps back and looked at the underside of his arm,"Something....caused me to miss?"

He searched his arm up and down and finally found a small cut on the underside of his forearm.

"Whew," came a voice from his left," that was close, if I had been just a second later that man would be dead."

Sanguine turned to look at the voice. A man stood there, He had blazing red hair that was shorter then Sanguine's but still long, he had emerald green eyes and was wearing a white button up shirt with sleeves that reached his elbows and blue jeans with a chain that wrapped from his right belt loop and attached to his left pocket. The man was carrying the largest katana Sanguine had ever seen, its blade alone was at least 4 feet in length but more so, from front to back it was at least half a foot.

The man let the blade rest on his shoulder," It would have been really bad had you killed him Sanguine."

"How do you know my name?!"

The man bowed slightly," The names Axl, Axl Knight, I have been assigned the task of watching over you for about a year now."

Sanguine assumed a fighting stance," Watching? Who would wanna watch over me."

Axl stood up straight," I can't tell you anymore yet, I was just tasked with keeping you from doing something bad with your power..."

" I don't feel satisfied with that answer," He smirked," maybe i'll beat the information out of you."

"I see," Axl sighed and readied his blade at his side," I guess even Ragnarok's bloodlust influences you."

Sanguine lunged at Axl with his fists, but each one Axl expertly parried away with his sword.

Sanguine pulled his right fist back," Erupting Claw!" He punched Axl's sword again, but this time fire erupted from his fist and enveloped Axl and good part of the forest behind him.

"Heh, humans should know their place before a god," Sanguine smirked.

"know our place,"Sanguine's eyes widened as Axl emerged from the flames unscathed," What makes you think you are so much better then me!"

Axl jumped at Sanguine and rose his sword," Show him your strength, Pandora."

Axl disappeared from sight for a split second, and reappeared behind Sanguine. He swung his sword down and unleashed a pure white blade beam that overtook Sanguine and his fire.

Axl rested his sword on his shoulder again, " So you think you were the only special one or something."

the dust cleared from Axl's attack and Sanguine stood with a large cut up his forearms from blocking the attack," So....you aren't normal either...this could get interesting," he grinned.
