Hello! I participated in NaNoWriMo for the second time this year, and came out with something wholly unexpected: a serious story. I named it The Phoenix and the King. It's about what the title suggests, but with a twist: the Phoenix is a human. It's a sort of Beauty and the Beast-esque story. Please take a moment and meet Hafiz, a very important secondary character.
Brief Description
Age: Late thirties to early fortiesBuild: Large and solid. Muscular. Somewhat tall. In shape.
Skin: The color of cinnamon.
Eyes: Very bright green
Facial Features: Square-ish and regular. Handsome, but nothing exotic. Cheeks appear slightly sunken. Grave. Scars on one half from burn-wounds, if you want.
Hair: Short and black.
Personality: He is the head of the Royal Guard, and does not trust Zell. He is clever and grave. Quick and intelligent. Grudgingly loyal. Deeper than you would expect. More than he seems. Has traits of a nobleman.
Clothing: Light armor, in a style allowing freedom of movement. Mix beauty with functionality.
