You know, I actually genuinely liked the last few episodes of Torchwood. I think it was the psychology of jack in "Immortal Sins" is what finally sucked me back in emotionally, and now I'm running along with them. I like the way absences are sort of silent characters now, a subtext for folks who've been watching the other seasons and pertinent bits of Doctor Who, while being invisible if you haven't. I'd given up on loving this season, but the last three episodes, I loved, and I have hopes for the finale.
