Failing to realize the trust I have in you .
Failing to see the potential it has.
Failing to be what you want to be.
Failing to do right by not you, but me.
I trust you with a secret, shoveled words of some kind.
And you do as I knew you would,
Betray me of some point in time.
The you go back, and you tell me a lie.
So how did I get wrapped up in this?
Why did I even try.
You failed me, You failed yourself. You failed your heart harder than anyone else.
You failed your feelings and you false sense of pride...
All to get by in another popular kid in life.
You failed my trust.
You failed my need.
You failed everything that the us could, would, should be.
The potential is gone, wasted away.
All because you wanted to make someone else feel your dismay.
