Being where i always wanted to be but still feeling out of place.
Ik I better fit in here, mentally
Ik I feel different here, physically
The simple fact that I am creole
Makes me feel like an outlander.
It is simple to explain that I feel insecure.
Maybe it's because Im not used too it.
All my life I have been a creole in a creole world
And I have never once fit in, now I am in a black and white world,
I fit in better, less people walk on me for being nice
More people thank me for the little things. I am happy here, but still self concous and insecure when surrounded by people of opposing colour and scared when around people of same colour who are strangers to me, why?
On jamaica every1 os dark skinned so u can never see a man in normal clothes and say hese a criminal, In this country the kind of music most popular to the dark skinned people is rap, they worship that kind of music and criminality it talks about, rap expressed that criminality is a good thing and I am afraid of sny1 who sees criminality is good. I guess I will always be out of place in some way, just takes some getting used too I guess rolleyes
