Her skirt rustled about her feet while she shuffled the halls of the local public school. Her tails fur brushed against her leg as it twitched, the only sign of her irritation of over hearing the whispers that had followed her for ages. " she hisses a lot, have you seen it?" " of course ive seen it, remember third grade?" She remembered it, sure. clear as her night vision was. ~~~ It was a third grade presentation, but not a class presentation. this was a 3 month whole class project in the auditorium. On stage. Not only nerve wracking but, her enemy, Melissa Sanders, had sworn an oath that so far she was intent on keeping. She sat right in front of her, and not by choice either. The teacher had seated them according to first name when she'd have preferred to sit in the back corner, away from eyes that watched. and judged . She sat and stared forward, ignoring the sound that was increasing and beating at her head. Then Melissa gripped her hair and yanked. Hard. She whimpered and stiffened her shoulders. Melissa grabbed and pulled harder, forcing a cry out of her throat. Melissa chuckled, and then she turned around a low growl that had the other students turning toward her, and before she realized it, her mouth opened and her fangs showed, a hiss swarming up and out of her throat. Her irises had thinned and her vision sharpened, shocking her into clamping her mouth shut and the administrators order a psychological check. ~~~ She kept her head forward and strode stiffly to class.
