I wake in my room the day starting off with a smile and my spirits soaring. I walk down the long narrow dark stair case that seems to lead to a black hole of silence and abandonment. I'm scared and lost but taking a breath i walk farther into this darkness about to consume me. Is this cold feeling death's embrace or the cool air of a machine hitting my body? I shiver as the cold sends the chills that are like deaths icy fingers down my spine. Fear slowly is trying to worm it's way into my mind and heart. I make my way out further in my eyes occasionally making me see things that aren't really there and my mind filling my body with fear that somethings behind me calling my name with a chilling whisper. More and more the cries grow more and more i want to find the door as I look behind and i run into something with a thud. I fall over and grab my head in a daze then slowly stand back up. Did I hit a wall or was it something on it? As I slowly rose to my feet i saw that I had hit the door and with a nervous gulp I quickly grabbed the door and stepped out into the cool air of the night. But as I walked out I noticed that they knew I was trying to leave and i tripped before I could realize it. I landed with a loud thump and a loud sickening crack followed. I once again grabbed me head shook it off and tried to stand up. In the attempt I let out a shriek of pain as i lifted my hand from my leg and noticed that it was colored crimson red. I looked down and saw that one of the metal spikes on the fence had impaled my leg. Knowing that I couldn't stand there I got up despite the mind splitting torture that was the pain in my leg and ran as far as my mind would let me falling down in a group of trees I passed out and fell into a deep pain induced slumber
