I tis the start of a new day and no one can ruin it for me.
"Leslie!!!" cried my mother from the kitchen downstairs, "You better be up and ready for school!" I sighed then looked back into the mirror at my freckled and light skinned face.
"no, no" I whispered quietly, "I am going to enjoy today."
Grabbing my bag and running down the stairs i got to the kitchen just in time for breakfast.
