What have I been reading? A Sharpe, a Felix Castor, and Diary, which I only just started. Hence my complete lack of stuff to say about my reading. I've also started a rewatch of B5. The last time was with Skye in the most acute part of grieving my soldier. I'm only in season one, which I watched the first time in syndication some time after I watched season two in real time, so I don't have a lot of emotional resonance or layered sense memory invested in it. I expect the real ugly bit for me will be much later on. Right now I'm simply marveling at how well it was crafted the first time. (Yes, the CGI and some effects now look primitive, but the acting; design of characters, world, ans etc; and writing elements like deep foreshadowing still hold up beautifully.)
