Steampunk Theives Elizabeth Stanley sat on her custom made bike-carriage as she looked out over the rolling desert. She sat high up on a cliff and checked her watch. Twenty past three. She was going over the plans once more in her head. She was going to rob the city's largest bank, Mt. Bank Royal. She had spent 3 long months coming up with the perfect plan but she knew that it wasn't going to be easy. Her twin sister Esmeralda was helping her with all the details and technical mumbo-jumbo. Her mouth watered slightly at the thought of how rich they were going to be once they had the money safely out of the city. This was going to be one of the biggest stunts she pulled ever. No one had ever pulled off a robbing of Mt. Bank Royal. It was completely unheard of! But identical twins Elizabeth and Esmeralda spent their lives as thieves whether it was taking on jobs for clients or earning themselves a little extra spending cash on the side. Elizabeth ran a real, honest job on the side though. She had her own mechanic shop on the corner of West Bay and Steadler Road and she was one of the best in town. Thinking of her business, she started up the engine and headed back into town. She had a 4 o'clock appointment with a new customer that day and she didn't want to disappoint them.
Pirate Adventures Grace O'Malley stood at the helm of her ship, the magnificent Mermaid Queen. She had a grin on her face as she looked through the spyglass at another ship on the horizon. She couldn't wait to begin the attack on the cargo ship, just thinking of all the treasure on the ship made her knees weak with pleasure. Grace O'Malley was one of the best pirates of the 7 Seas, other than the Pirate King himself. She had never met this elusive Pirate King, but there were stories across the oceans that whispered of his tyranny and thirst for power. Grace made it her personal goal to surpass the Pirate King and become the ultimate Pirate Queen herself. “Mister Toby! Raise the flag and set sails! Starboard side! We have a new item on the menu today!” she laughed heartily as her fist mate ran to the deck and began beckoning orders to the crew. “We'll be eating like kings tonight men!” she hollered down into the chaos, a devilish smile plastered on her face as her ship gained speed and headed towards the helpless cargo ship ahead.
Mermaid Song Riley Ayre Riley Ayre swam cautiously just below the surface of the water. She was looking up into the night sky through the few inches of water, watching the bright flashes of light that exploded into the darkness with awesome brilliance. The humans were celebrating again tonight. She could smell the land food and drink, head the dancing, singing and commotion going on on top the ship. She poked her head out of the water for a few moments to watch the sparkling fire shimmer in the sky. She was curious about the humans, though her people were told to stay away from the surface as the humans will capture them and kill them for their scales. Riley wasn't really all that afraid of the humans, but the wrath of her mother if her mother ever found out what she did at night. She would always sneak out of her underwater home and go in search of passing ships. She would listen to what was going on on board and wish she knew what was going on. Riley blinked as another louder explosion happened in the sky. She shook her head, forgetting her thoughts and remembered to be cautious, just in case. The night sky lit up for a moment as the massive explosion filled the darkness, almost turning it to daylight. “What is that?” came a shout from above, from the boat. Riley looked up and saw that there were three men looking down at her. “It's a mermaid!” they shouted in unison. “Quick someone get the net!” hollered another voice. Riley gasped and ducked back under the water. But it was too late. The humans on board had already casted a net and she was tangled up inside it.
High Priestess Haquika Haquika sat in her prison cell, practising the little magic she still had left. Her tribe was attacked by the Strange Ones and now her people were enslaved, working till death on whatever jobs the Strange Ones gave them. Fortunately for Haquika, she was left alone to heal the weak, because she was the High Priestess of her people, she had the Magik. She was born with it and it started at an early age. First she figured out that she could heal sick animals when she was 6. Then she started practising on humans when she was 15. Haquika could heal people who were a few hours from death. But this was also a curse as well as a gift. The Strange Ones knew of her power and wanted her to bring their recently deceased God-King back to life. Haquika refused to and so here she was, in the dirtiest, most damp, most disgusting prison cell. She was hardly given any food at all and the food that she was given, had already gone bad. Haquika looked out the small cell window, her eyes gazed at her dying people below. The Strange Ones wouldn't let her heal them until she had agreed to bring their God-King back to life.
Witchy Wanderings Willow Rosewood sat in the back of the darkly lit pub and watched the regulars as they went on about their business. Willow was the stranger here tonight, but she was here on a mission. She was hired by an unknown person, who had plenty of gold, to kill a person for them. Willow didn't care about what she had to do to get paid, as long as she got the job done and got paid. Her client told her that the person would be wearing a blood red scarf tonight and coming to this tavern. She didn't know why her client wouldn't do that job themselves, but she didn't care enough to ask, the reward in gold was just too good and opportunity to give up. Willow took another sip of her tankard of ale and watched the main doors. So far the person with the blood red scarf hadn't shown up yet. She was hoping they'd get to here soon enough so that she could kill them and get her money. One of the bar maids smiled a friendly smile at her as she brought her a hot roast beef sandwich. Willow nodded her head in thanks and tossed the bar wench a big gold coin. Willow then dug into her food as she kept watching the room.
Warriors Rewards Tyra Cage let out a loud roar of victory as she beheaded the gladiator in front of her. She laughed as the head dropped to the ground and rolled a few feet away from the now twitching body on the ground. The crowd around her roar with excitement and she defeated another opponent. For the past couple weeks, Tyra had been the King's entertainment. She used to be a commanding officer of the Leechan empire and had went into battle against the Calaths. Her army was defeated and the survivors captured for entertainment, including her. But, as to be expecting of the commanding officer, she was one of the best. She had been on a 3 week winning streak. Everyday Tyra was thrusted into the ring with someone who she didn't know. She would then defeat them and then she was whisked away again. She sighed for a moment and pulled off her helmet, wiping the blood and sweat off her brow. She looked up at the crowd till she found he King. She gave him a long look before a smile cracked on her face. The poor King didn't know what was coming for him if she ever escaped.
Vampires Bad Luck Alexa Edwards stormed through her castle with a displeased look on her face. “Jasper! Andrea! Come here this instant!” she bellowed through the castle. She opened the doors to her study and saw her two ghost servants floating in front of her. “Miss Edwards,” they said in unison as she stomped around to the other side of her desk and sat down heavily. “Jasper, bring me the bandages. Andrea, bring me blood,” she growled out as she took off her coat and looked at her arm. She had gotten into a fight with a wolf tonight and would have been the looser if she hadn't been able to get away. She glared at the bloody mess of her arm as Jasper and Andrea both came back with the items requested. “Miss, you know we've told you countless times, you simply cannot go hunting for food in the woods! It's too dangerous! The wolves are very protective of their territories and considering the face that vampires and wolves are immortal enemies, it's just adding fuel to the fire!” scoffed Jasper as he set to the task of cleaning and bandaging her wounds. Andrea nodded in agreement. “If we've told you once, we've told you a billion and one times! What would your father and grandfather think if they knew that their poor beloved Alexa was playing with the flea bitten mutts and loosing!” Andrea chimed in, handing the glass of warm blood to Alexa. Alexa downed the quickly and hissed at the ghosts. “What father and grandfather won't know, won't hurt them. Besides, that idiot that lives on the other side of town lead me into another trap! I can't wait for the day that I can give him what he's deserving!” she growled out and looked miserably out the window.
A Slayers Duty Bebe Adame whistled to the music playing in her headphones as she dusted the last night crawler of the night. These days, there were enough vampires in the city to make a full-time job of killing them. But seeing as Bebe was in her second year of college, she couldn't afford to fail exams because she was out killing the things that went bump in the night. Bebe laced up her roller blades and headed back to her apartment. With her hands in her pockets, she bladed down the center of the street casually. She wasn't afraid of the vampires, and she hadn't met a blood-sucker that she wasn't able to take down. Sure she came out of the fight black and blue, but it was worth it to see the night crawler burst into dust. Bebe was the one person the people of Sennhenn could count on to kill the vampires, even if they didn't know that vampires existed.
Werewolf Teachings Shelly McCraig ran out towards the woods as the sun set in the sky and the full moon began to rise. She hated the fact that for two weeks every month, she had to turn into a monster and kill to feed. Shelly hated the fact that some poor soul was going to die by her hands to fulfil her need for blood. The transformation into a werewolf was always the most painful, splitting her skin and her bones. She already had to buy new outfits because she kept ruining the ones she had. Shelly needed someone to teach her how to control her changing and help her not become the mindless, violent, blood-crazed animal that she changed into. Shelly felt the familiar sharp pain in the base of her spine as it began to grown and elongate, covering with fur into a white wolfs tail. She let out a loud scream as her bones cracked and her skin split, remaking itself into a new form, a more powerful, dangerous form. The whole process took only minutes, but they were the longest few minutes of Shelly's life. They felt like forever as her body was put through immense pain. Once the change was complete, a long, lone howl swept through the woods, stilling everything. The beast was out to hunt.
