A Brief History of the Involvements of Four Individuals in the Affairs of the Ancient Land of Magic, More Popularly Dubbed T.A.L.M. or Simply Talm
Liu Hiro
Hiro landed in Aranka, Mirth, where he reluctantly sold his prized gondola for Talm's currency. Afterwards he traveled to Pathur where he met Astron Razzen, whom he calls Elf. Hiro quickly left Pathur for Veles where he briefly studied the mana windmills. Hiro fled from Veles fearing that the first scouts for the Children of the Dragon were Velesian patrols sent to arrest him for breaking and entering.
Hiro briefly returned to Pathur where he once again met Astron before traveling south to Saur. Hiro forged a sword in the Saurian deserts as a gift for the King-to-be Kai Yung. Being imbued with the sand of Saur, the sword allows its beholder more mobility with powers directly related to Saurian soil. Although not invited, Hiro appeared at the coronation with an invitation addressed to him. Here he met Astron once again.
Hiro left soon after the coronation, entrusting his gift to a messenger who quickly delivered it to Kai Yung. Carving a decent canoe out of an old Juniper tree, Hiro set sail from Saur's southwestern shore and fell asleep.
He awoke several days later on the southern coast of Veles where he briefly became a prisoner of the Children of the Sun. After being released into the custody of Nyette, Hiro took a joyride on a Black Wing and was severely reprimanded. Hiro challenged Mindir Pendragon’s resolve in reuniting Talm then offered his support, once again meeting Astron. Hiro was taken to a ship in order to calm a spooked Black Wing. He did so, and in return the Black Wing took a liking to him.
After briefly breaking in the Black Wing, Hiro accompanied Nyette to investigate a pack of trolls. After killing the enraged trolls, Hiro and Nyette discovered the trolls were under a spell. Regrouping back at the camp, the Navatians vanished that night, leaving Hiro and his Black Wing. With nothing left for them, they headed east to Kratos where Hiro met Allen, a hired assassin, and began hunting land sharks.
Amalia Cruoriinhibio
Amalia was released from her thirty year sentence in the Pathurian royal prison. Immediately she killed a girl in the woods for a new set of clothes, then traveled to her mother’s homeland of Kratos. Here she picked up some items that had been left for her by her mother before they left. Stopping by the black market, she obtained an assassination contract for the king of Pathur with a forged signature belonging to Kai Yung.
Amalia returned to Pathur where she obtained a job as a cook in the royal palace. On the night of a party, she poisoned the king of Pathur and met with an agent who was also trying to kill the king. Guiding him to a private place, she accepted the man’s offer to occasionally perform assassinations for his beneficiary.
Without waiting for orders, she left Pathur with a crypt mouse as a pet. She briefly stayed the night at a farm belonging to former mercenaries. Her stay disrupted her original outlook on life and has left her confused as to her purpose, although she would not show it. She left in the middle of the night and found herself in Aranka, Mirth.
Here she met Tiger Royal, a fox-human chimera and agreed to be her guide in Aranka and travel partner elswhere.
Adam Kuroda
Adam, a noble of Kratos, first came into importance when he investigated a forged assassination contract. Finding the forger in the black market, he sent a warning and a copy of the forged contract to Kai Yung. The messenger delivered the warning to Augustana on the morning of the coronation.
Adam then met a man whose name he never learned, Sai’agar. Together they planned to infiltrate the Tower of Veles in order to gain knowledge on the force docked in southern Veles. Meeting Bleufonticus Maginarious along the way, they successfully infiltrated the Tower, but were unable to learn anything about the Children of the Dragon. While searching a stockroom, Adam pocketed an artifact known as Stormcaller, a magical hunting horn capable of summoning thunderstorms.
Adam escaped with Bleu when they were confronted by the force led by Scathach. Safely returning to his pagoda outside Imak, Kratos, Adam began planning his next expedition.
Adam visited Enick in Psogolov to discuss the venture of excavating the O-Ska Ruins. There he aided in fending off three assassins and their conjured demon. Leaving the islands, he returned briefly to Kratos before departing for Veles.
Bleufonticus Maginarious
Bleufonticus, or Bleu or BM, left Veles to travel to Saur in hopes of seeing the coronation and learning some new spells. Being denied entry without an invitation and finding the country too busy with the coronation, Bleu returned to Veles with no luck in achieving his goals. Here he joined Adam and Sai in their infiltration of the Tower.
After bypassing the Tower’s magical securities, he began to help his companions loot a stockroom. Realizing that neither he nor Adam held any allegiance to Sai, he dumped his loot and escaped with Adam. Regrouping back at Adam’s pagoda in Kratos, he left for Aspira.
Here he met Quevral and Zhuo Xia.
