They have taped the last Oprah show. I have huge respect her. She did a lot of the ground work for things like people treating AIDS patients decently and for Middle America not disowning their LGB kids, as well as all the things she's done for literacy, women's health awareness, diminishing racism, destigmitizing mental health issues, and various charities. Her show wasn't always perfect, particularly in areas like organ transplants and trans folk, but she made an effort over the decades to educate herself on all sorts of important issues and to in turn educate average people all over the country. I wish her well in future endeavors.
