It's been almost TWO YEARS since my last update!?
How can I even BEGIN with all the stuff that happened?
....Well I'll try to.
Alright, my last post was in Christmas 2009, so I'll just recap what happened from 2010-2011.
Well most of you guys know near the beginning of 2010 Haiti had an earthquake. It was scary, and I felt bad for everyone. Also, I was now halfway through 9th grade, which I couldn't wait to finish. I had this horrible history teacher, it was just difficult to even manage a C. When summer started, I went back to volunteering at my local library. It was fun as usual, I got to see some friends that Are in the program too. I also got a dog!>w< Her name is Jackie. That summer was also when I made a deviantART account, and I am SO glad I have one.
For those of you who don't know, deviantART is a place where you can post your art, literature, videos, all of your artistic creativity! It's a great place to learn knew drawing techniques, different artists, and all the software and art supplies you can imagine! It's honestly my favorite website. When I started, most of my art was traditional and not well in my standards. But still, I managed to get pageviews every month, I met knew artists, kept in touch with old ones, and gradually my art improved. I am so thankful for DA.
Back to the story, when summer ended, I was not a 10th grader. And boy I can't WAIT for it to end. I mean, I love almost all of my teachers except one. I can't stand my biology teacher at all. She grades everything harshly, and her favorite catch phrase is "Too vague." If I didn't have that one teacher, I would've love this year so much more.
We all got fat during the holidays. First there's Thanksgiving, then Christmas, New Years, then my dad's b-day is in Jan, so we ate constantlyXD
Now it's 2011, and most of us know the revolutions going on in Egypt and Libya. Obama is trying to get a budget passed. Our state is forming its own rail system, which I can't wait for>w<
Oh yeah! This year I decided to do the 52 Week Project on DA. Basically I have to draw once a week and post it. It's really a lot of fun^^
