Wrote some of another song. It has lots of violins in it, airy, not too heavy. Perhaps a soft piano. There's an easy feelinged bass. A guitar that follows the melody in part. The drums give it direction. Its a hopeful song. Lyrics are not finalized, but the gist is there. This could be the gentle crescendo, the moment with the most feeling. What I have so far:

I've recorded this part, and immediately my head went, "this melody reminds me of something..." I hope its just playing devil's advocate with me. This song is decidedly borderline pop-rock. Its ballad-like. But hopeful. Its eyes are pointed to a sunny place. Surprising, given the direction my own eyes have been pointed in lately. Its sung in a lower tone than I usually sing in. It gives it seriousness and yet also a gentle casuality. My voice is like the small caress on the face of the loved one this is about. But who is it about? Some of you may think you have an idea. I'm not too sure myself. My brain writes its own songs, its own lyrics. Who knows what part of my past or present these feelings are from?
