Hi, Mr. Journal. Its been a while.
The most recent book I have finished is The Gardener by S.A. Bodeen.
Its funny, cause Ive always wished I was a plant-person. Wouldnt that be cool? Never having to eat? More oxygen? Less air pollution? So, in the world, no more hunger.. no more destroying forests, grasslands, etc. to grow food.. that would be heaven.
Ok, so the book was about this, about these auto-trophs in this science university place. The idea of the book was a really good idea, but the main character ruined it. He is so dumb, stupid, and ignorant! I mean, he finds this girl and falls "in love" with her in less than a day. I mean sure, that can happen *ahemlustahem*, but they hardly talked at all, and.. it just didnt work. And he is so stupid, wanting to just shut it down. I mean, ANYBODY can see that they need the synthetic stuff to survive, and eachother. The experiment is also not that harmful to the kids. You heard them say that they were content with their life. I think that he was actually a 7-year-old. To not understand this, I mean, rolleyes Also, he has no memory. You remember the girl saying she was at row 17 or whatever, and still, you run around shouting her name. And, he is such so inconsiderate. Ugh, the character is just so repelling. Also, the book was very predictable. But, still. It had potential.
