Biography: Kerian and Kaoru are brothers born from a Goddess and Human. These Demigods have untold powers, however, they know not how to unleash them. The only powers of theirs they do know how to use are the four elements of fire, air, earth and water and a defensive barrier; simple, but extremely tough. These brothers are very fond of each other and hate being separated, they will do anything to stay together due to their absence of other relatives. Even though they are half gods, they age like normal humans for odd reasons unknown.
As children, Kerian and Kaoru had a fairly nice life. They lived in a secluded home, deep in a lush forest with their inhuman mother and wonderful father. Life then was pretty normal, save for the fact their mother was a Goddess and they were Demigods, but they had never questioned it nor gave it a second thought, they just accepted it as if it was normal. In fact, the brothers gladly embraced their race, they loved the fact that they were different.
One day, when Kerian was fourteen and Kaoru was eleven, they had asked their mother to teach them how to use their powers, but she told them, 'no'. When they asked why, she replied with a; 'because I said so' and nothing else was spoken of it. However, the brothers weren't going to take that as an answer and began training together in secret. After a few weeks, the brothers finally learned how to shoot fire from the palms of their hands.
Completely ecstatic, the siblings began using their new found powers to no end. They were so happy, they hadn't noticed that they burnt most of their training area. Not really caring, the brothers shrugged and want back home, intent on not letting either their mother or father find out.
Once home, Kerian and Kaoru frowned upon finding their mother standing outside their home, hands on her slender hips and a deep frown upon her young looking face. The woman shakily asked where the boys had been and what they had been doing, but the males looked at each other and lied, saying they were out playing hide and seek. The mother foolishly, but very hesitantly, believed them and nothing else was said on the matter.
A few days later, Kerian and Kaoru were woken up by a loud bang, early in the morning, just as the sun was coming up. The brothers quickly sprung out of bed and headed down the stairs of their house to see what was wrong. Abruptly stopping once they reached the bottom, the siblings stood in shock at the bodies of their parents on the wood floor, covered in blood and wounds. Just next to the dead bodies of the boy's parents, was a male clad in white, now blood stained, robes. The man's red colored eyes looked over at the brothers and began walking towards them. In fear, the siblings quickly ran back up the stairs and into their room, slamming the door shut and locking it. They swiftly ran to the window in their room and opened it, setting the house on fire, hoping to trap the man, before jumping out. Running as fast as they could go, the brothers fled from the unknown man.
Kerian and Kaoru had obviously escaped and decided to practice their inherited powers for defense. By the time Kerian had turned seventeen and Kaoru fourteen, they had mastered several of their powers. Also at this time, the siblings had found the man was not a force to laugh at, he was a god. He and some others had been sent to dispose of their mother, father and themselves. Obviously, it was unacceptable for a god or goddess to be with a mortal, so they had decided to obliterate the 'traitor' and her family. The brother's also learned, the only way for the gods to find them is if the siblings use excessive amounts of their powers.
Not long after, the two brothers were captured, but not without a challenge. Now, they live with their master, who seems to think of them, not as slaves, but as companions.
