A not so common home grown name here in Memphis, T.N., but greatly known in the city of Blues and Rock & Roll as the civil rights photographer of the ages.
Me, Mama, Cody, and Sarah just came back from the Civil Rights Museum checking out a documentry of the famed photographer and all of his latest works of his time, but I must admit that Mr. Withers must've a good stomach not only to photograph stitches on people and the such, but take a picture of a body in the mourge showing all the full bruises on a dead body......UGH!
