BubbleTea said, "My friends encourage me to ride on really tall roller coasters, but I am afraid of great heights and I've always had the superstition that I will fall off or maybe even possibly die. I want to tag along with my friends, but I usually wait for them outside the exit due to my apprehensions. How do I overcome this fear?"
"Fear is useless, what is needed is trust." Most of what fear brings is vice. Here it gives you anxiety and wants to limit your happiness. Most people fear the future and what is to come. In order to overcome this, one must be at peace with the present. Even at peace we all fear death. But this death is an illusion. It gives the Illusion you will die but you must have faith that this won't happen. Hopefully your friends are sympathetic but encouraging and not simply trying to pressure you. Regardless the Coaster doesn't change. One may want to ride the lesser coasters first and gain some experience for the greater ones. Hold yourself secure in the Coaster and you will gain more control. But remember these Roller Coasters are very thought out and crafted because the makers don't want to have the suffering of the courts of judgment. After all, haven't your friends come back every time? If you really thought it would bring death you wouldn't allow your friends to get on the coaster. This fear is merely the butterflies that all of humanity experiences. Simply shoo the butterflies in your stomach away, for these butterflies aren't pretty, they are ugly disgusting butterflies. Grasp courage, but true courage is only attainable through the Creator of Courage. Trust in your friends, they wouldn't lead you to your death. Put Trust in the Heavens and in Life.
