Just learned that one of the brothers which forms the duo E.S Posthumus died last year. What a tradgedy this is cry E.S Posthumus is the epitome of cinematic music, music which tells a story only for the listener to decipher. It saddens me not only for the loss of this soul from earth, but that this is all the E.S Posthumus music there will ever be, as the other brother has announced the cease of activities. We can all still enjoy their music, however. I'm sure it will be used in media forms for hundreds of years, that's how classic it is. Yet, even as its used as the theme songs for shows, in movie trailers, in documentaries, etc, when one listens to the whole songs all by himself or herself it still becomes extremely personal for that one.
