I'm watching Reservoir Dogs. I haven't seen it in it's entirety since the mid 90's. This is one of those films so tied up in the sense memory of the place and time I saw it, that it's hard to untangle as an artistic entity from all the other things layered onto it by circumstance. It amazes me how well it holds up, despite the passage of time. The sequence with White and Orange in the car and the warehouse is still as shocking and fresh as it was when in was new. Elsewhere some of the dialog is a touch stilted, but it still works as a piece of art.
