Was looking through my Candy Spooky Theater things today, and came across this: "SPOOKY WONDERLAND ALBUM CD.rar" My brain was like, "what the ********? How long have we had this for?? LISTEN NOW!" so I am. I <3 this album. It makes me debate whether Zull era was the best era or if this era is best.

For some reason, TCST is making kyoot songs now (Alice and Let's Meet With Chocolate and Candy -the second of which is so adorable I want to hug it and squeeze it-). Alice reminds me a little bit of what Monaural Curve would do, which is kind of strange because Zull is not in the band anymore. It makes me think about what TSCT would be like on a cruise or something.

Their cover of This is Halloween (The Nightmare Before Christmas : D ) owns the original. I don't give a crap what anyone says.

And I think I heard Jack say "I wanna eat your brains. I'm sorry... have sex with me?" in The Living Dead XD and then it goes, "brains! Give me brains! Brains brains brains! Cuz I wanna eat your brains! You look delicious! I wanna eat your head! You look delicious! I wanna eat all of you! You look delicious!" ah gotta love it.

The new version of Prince of Darkness is very satisfying and a bit heavier than the original which is just wonderful.

I still prefer the original version of Spook House, however.

Le Dance Macabre is fun to listen to (never heard the original- what? How can you not have heard the original??- I don't know x.x). And they pronounce Macabre like how I used to when I was little.

There are these little intros throughout that lend each song they introduce a little something extra sweet. There's also a liberal use of (garbled) English. Perhaps a nod to their numerous overseas fans?

Over all, this album is WIN and entering the list of must own for me (like it wasn't already there). If I can find it to buy. Damn you living in America. I wonder who wrote what on this. I'll find out.
