Teddy Roosevelt was bad a**. And that is why he isa good president. Infact one of the best--if not the best.
That he was a good president because:
compromiseone of his major skills was hisability to compromise and make both side of an argument happy. Such as in the case of the war between Russia and Japan, as well as many countless strikes. he didn't necessarily side with one or the other and made a deal that benefited both sides.
He was not corrupt. This is because Roosevelt fell into the presidency Roosevelt wasn't he was not indented to companies
The presidency in previous years had been corrupted by the brides of large industries and wealthy people. However, because Roosevelt fell into the presidency he was not indebted to these special interests and could therefore fight them, like no other president had before. You know why, because he's a bad a**.
He made signifcant advances I think also one of his main pooints was that he didn't focus so much on the economy, of what one political party wanted, and he focused more on social change
Social changes-
working class things,
Nonpartisan someone to do the right thing, rather than what either side wants. Why? Because he's a bad a**. He exemplifies the characteristic s of a good presidency, that really speak to what the presidency is supposed to be. they are supposed to be self-interested. he never really defined himself to a single political interest or group.
The reason that he was able to achieve all of these accomplishments was the fact that he was not supposed to be president. well, on top of being a bad a**.
So what? Influenced the obligations of the modern day presidency.
