I woke up in the middle of my English class with the teacher standing over me. “Nice of you to join us Destiny.” She told me, glaring. “Umm hi Ms.Iris.. how are you today?” I told her with my best student smile. She didn’t believe it and frowned. “Go to the principle, now.” She said then walked back to her desk and started teaching again. I sighed and left the classroom. This was my fourth time being sent to the principles office within the last week, Shane was going to be mad at me again. I loved Shane to death, i kind of had to because he was my brother, but he had the worst temper ever and it only got worse when he got calls from the school about me getting kicked out.
This was my sixth school within the last 4 months and I hoped I wasn’t going to get kicked out of this one because I acutely made friends here, which was hard for me because I got kicked out before I could even tell anyone my name.
I sighed and saw one of my best friends coming out from the guys locker room. Ryan Nura wasn’t like normal guys just like I wasn’t a normal girl, we both had a secret way bigger then finding out someone didn’t have a boyfriend or something. The only down fall was that he knew that I was an Earth Angel, which is basically an angel who was born on earth, but I haven’t figured out what he was. I waved at him and he smiled at me, walking over.
Now before I tell you anything else that might make you fall head over heels for Ryan let me say that he was a total flirt, if it had boobs and walked on two legs then you always found that Ryan knew them or dated them, which thankfully I never dated him but I secretly wished I did. Now that I warned you back to telling you how cute he is.
Now Ryan was about 5’9 with a muscle packed body, not the over sized muscle type but muscles and abs in all the right places. He had short blond hair this week, he dies it every other month, and the deepest emerald green eyes with gold rimming I have ever seen. When he smiled it stole my breath away, but I hoped he never noticed. His personality was usually a sweet, strong, loving guy. If you got him mad things got freaky, and I would usually have to calm him down or he would literally kill someone. Over all he was the perfect guy, as long as you didn’t make him mad that is. I think I was the only one in this entire school who has ever seen the true Ryan Nura when he got completely mad and I couldn’t calm him down. It was some scary crap seeing him like that, but he made it up to me by letting me stay for dinner. As he walked to me I remember all of that night and smiled.
“Hey Angel, why are you skipping class today?” He asked me smiling.I shushed him and whispered, “Don’t call me that crazy. I really don’t want to be locked away.” He just smiled and hugged me. I hugged him back processing the other part of what he said. “And no I’m not skipping class, I’m going to the principle...again” He laughed and stepped back from me, shaking his head. “Girl you have got to stop falling asleep in school! Your going to get kicked out before I can even get a date with you!” He winked at me and I laughed.
“Your other girlfriends in waiting would kill me if you did that, Ryan.” I told him, rolling my eyes.He laughed and nodded. “That’s true and all but you know I wouldn’t let them hurt you, angel" He said fiercely.
I smiled that him but I felt like I really wanted to sigh. When Ryan got on the topic of someone doing anything to me, even if was getting another ear piercing, he would always say no and make sure I never did it. He got way to over protective for someone I just met last year. “Well you better get the principle before your bro hears about it.” He said with a smile trying to cover his laugh. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
“ Well ill try and talk to you later then Ry.” I told him walking down the hall again.
“Don’t die! If you get grounded you could always come and stay at my place!” He called back at me. I laughed and walked into the office and around the people already in there. They all knew me by now, I was the basic trouble maker in this school. They always wanted to group me in with the failing kids or just kick me out. Truth was I was too smart for them to make me fail. Even through I slept threw my classes I always ended every class with an A, and that went for every school I went too. I wasn’t a bad kid, I swear on everything I own! I just didn’t like being stuck in school all day when I could be outside helping out with the wild dogs. Yes, it sounded weird to my friends at first when I told them but I have this knack with animals, they love me and I love them because of their freedom.
With my head held high I walked into the principles office like I owned the school. When I got threw the door I stopped and noticed that someone else was in the room besides the principle, it was my brother sitting on a chair glaring at me.
Today is never going to end…I thought to myself as I closed the door behind me and sat on one of the small chairs, hoping I would live to see tomorrow.
