Staring: konan and fiyero

Konan fell down on the ground of the warm beach and cried. The sun slowly began to sink into the ground. The sand grew cold as did the air. "I'm always alone," konan sobbed into her hands. "WHY!?" as the sun slowly disappeared someone walked up to her.
The boy sat down next to her and frowned. "why are you crying," he asked grabbing Konan's hand. "I don't like seeing you cry." the beach grew dark when the sun was finially gone. "what a shame," konan sobbed. "even the sun has abandoned me!"
The boy looked at her and smiled. "be happy. It means tomorrow is just around the corner." he hugged her tightly. "I'm fiyero," he said in a cheerful tone. "who are you?"
"I'm konan," she said quietly. Konan let fiyero hug her. The warmth of his body was new. She had never been hugged before.
"call me brother. I will take care of you. No matter what you need just come to me," fiyero let her go slowly.
Konan smiled for the first time. "ok," she giggled.
