I was just thinking about the rumored 50-year anniversary Doctor Who special featuring all living Doctor actors.
I have a guess about what it will be about, and which Doctor will be the main one.
I bet the special will be the Time War, and #8, McGann, would be the main Doctor, since the Time War happened between him and #9 (Eccleston), and he assumed to have regenerated immediately following or during the Time War (imagine two Ecclestons on screen at once).
The excuse for not having Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, and #12+ would be something wrong with the time scoop or whatever the reason is for all the Doctors being on Gallifrey. Or, like they did for The Five Doctors, the dead actor (Hartnell) was recast, so perhaps #1-3 could be recast for the rumored special.
They could cover up the fact that the end of the Time Lords wasn't mentioned by Doctors 4-8, either. It would interfere with a big historical event fixed in time or something.
Could tie in nicely with End of Time, too. The last day of the Time War when the Doctor uses the Moment (pay attention in the End of Time episode) and ends the war, killing the Time Lords, the Daleks, and all the horrors of the war is the day the Time Lord council was at when they came to Earth in (durpdedurp) the End of Time.
So the Master could appear, too! Since he went back to Gallifrey with them!
I want this so badly.
