It's a four hour test. Two maths, two reading tests. I get bored, 'kay? So on the math test, there was a question that said:
"Johnny expressed to his friend, Freddy, 'I am contemplating a pair of integers whose sum is equal to 24, and, when one subtracted by the other, the difference is that of 12. What are the two numerals of which I speak?'" or some stupid crap like that. The vocabulary was just so unnecessary considering that all they wanted to know was "What are two numbers whose sum is 24 and difference is 12." So. You guys know me. I couldn't resist.
My answer:
Assuming that the two integers are both positive, the only extrapolation for the two monomials to equal the total of 24 is if the two numeric values are be equivalent to 18 and 6. However, my baptismal name is NOT that of Freddy, so Johnny does not does not care what I am cogitating because I am a woman.
.....How do I get the feeling I'm not getting that scholarship?
