Alena smiles as he laughs, she knows he's laughing at her in a way, but doesn't mind it since she realizes she likes hearing him laugh and making him do it. At his words she sits up a little then sorta looks at him sideways "Well if you said that.. i'd have to say you move on fast then, since it's pretty clear you were upset over your girl earlier.." she says with a little bit of a bittersweet smile before she looks away then sighs "i'm.. sorry sometimes things come out of my mouth i didn't mean to" she says as she looks back. "dammit way to put your foot in your mouth Alena!" she mutters to herself as he heads to the kitchen, but then lets out a small relived sound as she sees him heading back to her table with her order. As Knight touches and flirts with her as he places her food in front of her she blushes a tiny bit, then tips her head up and returns his playful smirk with her own as she meets his eyes again then speaks in a light, and slightly teasing way. "Well since i didn't scare you off and your off work.. would you like to join me for dinner Knight?" she asks as she gestures to the chair across from her, and gives him another radiant smile that makes her eyes light up a little before she reaches over for her spoon and takes a bite of her sherbet. and as she does so.. she can't help hoping he doesn't find her too odd.. then frowning a tiny bit as she wonders why it would matter to her if he did...
