From shining silver starlight
a sign from the time of endless dreams,
throwing off the darkness of the things we have seen.
From shining silver starlight
winding its way through the heart,
closing the cracks of torment and searing the pain from the dark.
From shining silver starlight
pouring down from the endless sky,
gently brushing the faces of those who live an endless sleep,
absent of dreams.
From shining silver starlight
soothing the pain of their endless plight,
easing them through the painful night to blissful sleep,
at the end of dawn's first light.
