The world pulsates with light
People's voices overlapping, building like a wave
Emotions, expressions,
But I stay silent.
So many things I wish to say,
But every voice needs an ear,
So the only thing that I speak,
Are my silent tears.
My mouth has been muted,
My hands are tied,
I can do nothing,
I can say nothing.
They all wish for me to speak,
But I wish them to lend an ear,
If one doesn't, how can the other?
It's a vicious circle.
My body is my prison,
I'm bondaged to my flesh.
Inside a soul wishes to fly,
But it first must speak.
So I sit in silence,
Amidst the pool of voices.
They wish for me to talk
I wish for them to lesson.
I'll sit in silence,
Watching the world go by.
I'll lend an ear to those who cannot
Speak.
