And yes, I'm talking about druggies, smokers, and drinkers.
Now, this is just MY opinion, so don't jummp down my throat. All I'm saying is that drugs destroy you. Even weed. I know , i know, "YOU CAN'T GET ADDICTED TO WEED." stare < I've heard that 1000000 times. well if its not, than why can't you stop? neutral Just because there isn't a chemical that is physically addictive doesn't mean the feeling that you can get when you smoke it isn't. For example: music is addicting technically we could live without it. But lots of us wouldn't want to live without it would we? But yet there isn't a chemical or anything that makes it that way, its just the feeling we get when we listen to it.
I know that life is hard to deal with sometimes, but getting that 15 minute high and killing tons of brain cells isn't the way to get through it. Trust me, when you get out into the real world after high school and you need a job but you can't find one because you're completely burnt out , you'll understand.
And for some of you, after awhile weed isn't going to fulfill it anymore. You're going to want a bigger better high and you're going to try other things. Cocaine. Pills. whateverl. sooner or later you're going to be a junkie , tweakin' out , living only for the next fix, and then guess what ? you die that way. confused
Now, SMOKING, on the other hand... well thats just plain cool isn't it? Now i know a lot of people who smoke,and don't get me wrong, I LOVE Y OU. heart thats why i hate smoking so much, because i know it's going to kill you if you don't stop. I don't know the appeal of smoking and I never will, but i do know people its killed and people that have died from second hand smoke, and that should be enough to make you stop. with all the teenagers, MIDDLE SCHOOL kids , smoking these days... well i hope its just a fad rolleyes . As most things are these days. I hope you all grow out of it and decide not to slowly kill yourself. "But it makes me look cool." < & you're still gonna look cool when you're smoking your cigarrette through a hole in your neck and you need an oxygen mask to breathe. Reallllll coool. Everywhere i go to schoool, work , the mall, bowling alley, whereever, i always see somebody smoking and i know that they're just filling their insides with tobacco and tar and things that'll kill you. But hey, at least you look cool doing it right? confused
I worry about you guys. My friends, and people I don't even know. I worry that you're going to die young or live a long miserable life due to these things.
so when poeople i know come up to me and start a story with "man i was sooo stoned."

I may not look as cool or do stupid things but at least i have a future, at least i haven't ended my life at age 17. Some of you have and I'm really sorry, but you made your own choices. pay attention to health class once in awhile, pay attention to other people who are trying to get you to stop . they know what they're talking about. wink
