My mom had just gone to work and it was about 7:00PM, and it was dark. Walking up to the main road,an old woman, (Who was a tall,dirty blonde,but her face was covered in wrinkles,sitting at a table filled with sweets) warned me...
"Be on your guard. Death's been keeping a good eye out."
Just as I heard her say that,across the road was a tall dark figure...(Obviously the grim reaper because of the scythe and the rest of the getup..)
"I-It's just someone in a costume..." I reassured myself...though the actions of the figure counteracted my own comforting.
It seemed to "poof" from that side to the other.
The lady smiled and quickly handed me a sweet."Your last meal?"
My heart was beating rapidly,and I took a bite into whatever the heck it was...
It all melted away. All the fear,knowing of the pain...it melted away...
He was only three feet from me when I turned around. My feeling of reality peeled off like a sticky note,and my fear alone made me fall unconscious...
When I woke up...everything was white. A huge white room,sorta...
I closed my eyes and opened them again. I felt my hand and realized I was blinded for a moment. I felt like a child that had done something wrong...why,I wasn't sure.
I stayed there on my knees,my head solemnly against the floor...and I wanted to.
I wanted to stay in that position. It didn't matter what I was doing anymore...
Within that moment I regained my sight. I was sitting on the top of a hill. The air was warm and soft,and it smelled like lavender... I glanced off the edge of the plateau,and my eyes zoomed in to wherever I looked.
I stared at one spot for a while. My eyes seemed to be attracted to it. I could even zoom in onto what people were doing,and I could hear their conversations clearly,as if I were right next to them.
I laid down,rubbing my hands over the soft and lush grass...
And that one boy caught my eye...he had slightly curly hair,freckles,cupid lips and hazel jewels.
From now to eternity's end,I would watch him until he came to join me,up here on the beautiful hilltop...
