You know how Live Journals always have quizzes about the writer? Well, Fuzzykit posted this (in a thread) and asked everyone to fill it out. So I did. domokun My Quiz Results 1. WHAT ARE YOU WEARING NOW? My dark blue pajama pants with the snowflake pattern and an oversized white T-shirt from Frosh Week (ie. my university's orientation week). Currently barefoot. 2.WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? My signed copy of "Trickster's Queen" by Tamora Pierce. whee heart 3. WHAT'S ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? Just plain blue. It's quite ancient. ^^; 4. FAVOURITE BOARD GAME? Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue. Oh, and Hamburger. xd 5. FAVOURITE MAGAZINE? Reader's Digest? I don't read magazines very often, though. 6. FAVOURITE SMELLS? Rain. 7. FAVOURITE SOUNDS? Silence. Music. Laughter. 8. WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD? Helplessness. 9. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE UP? Ughhhh...What time is it? presses Snooze button 10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR? Any shade of blue. 11. HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? As soon as I can. Two or three, I suppose. I always pick up the phone at my house. >_> 12. DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE FAST? Feh. No. Even though I can drive, I'm still scared of driving. xd Too much of a chicken to go above the speed limit. (And a lot of the time I go under it. ._.) 16. (No, I did not name it that). 18. STORMS? Scary or exciting? Both. I love watching the rain, but not when I'm in it. <_< Scary when the thunder booms right outside, and it feels like a truck hit the house. 19. WHAT TYPE WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? Don't have one. It probably will be my mother's old champagne-coloured Camry, though. 20. IF YOU COULD MEET ANYONE TODAY DEAD OR ALIVE, WHO WOULD IT BE? My great-grandmother. She was cool. whee 21. FAVOURITE DRINK? But I haven't sent it to anyone... sweatdrop So there you go! It's official! It's a real Journal now. @_o Gaian News Shoppingu! Shoppingu! dances Stores are back up. Lots of nice new clothing. And bait to buy. I was bored this week (inbetween my assignments, I mean) because I couldn't fish (I ran out of bait), try on the new clothes, nor use the Vend to buy presents. ninja Moreover, I kept on getting home from school late this week, so a lot of my friends weren't online at the time. Anyway, now that the Stores are open, it's time to add more items to my "I'll buy this in 100 years" list. O_< Fishing! I dissected a real rainbow trout this week. So my favourite fish is the Warm/Cool Rainbow Trout on Gaia. xd Seems that not fishing really does replenish the fish stock. I had nothing but Guppies in Bass'ken and Seedkins in Gambino last week. This week, after several days of not fishing, I caught quite a few Bass and Trout. whee There also seems to be a glitch associated with catching the Bucking Bino in Port of Gambino. The game seems to crash when your bucket is full if you've caught one. But...it happened to me, too! And I didn't catch a Bino. gonk An error occurred after my bucket. crying And I had quite a few nice fish. sweatdrop I should have at least tried to reload the page. Ack! I spent a lot of time there because I wasn't really attempting to fish. That makes for bad results. le sigh Anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex The storyline is a bit over my head, but so are a lot of things. sweatdrop . And the animation is not as clean as I like it to be. But the themes are thought-provoking, the action intense, and the comedy...uh, relieving? As in comic relief. The theme song is pretty cool. I just learned it was sung in Russian. Nifty. whee Interstellar 5555 I really enjoyed this movie. xd If you've seen the Daft Punk music video for "One More Time", you've seen the first 5 minutes of this movie. The anime one with the blue-skinned band playing music? The rest of the story continues on from that. There's no dialogue at all in the movie, but it was thoroughly engaging. The whole movie is set to the music of Daft Punk. Watch it if you have the chance. It's quite an experience. whee And I absolutely agree with the quote at the beginning of the movie by the director: "Musicians are magicians". The Cat Returns Featuring the Baron from "Whisper of the Heart", this is only my third Ghilbi movie ("Spirited Away" being the third). Wow! Just...wow. heart Not quite as good as "Whisper of the Heart", but almost purrfect anyway. My favourite part of animation in general is the eyes of the characters. Ghibli has rather plain eyes (for humans, I mean), but in this movie, the eyes were large and colourful. whee The storyline is too short and lacked some depth, but still fantastical and a must-see. I still liked it better than "Spirited Away". ^^; And to end it off, something from Quizilla. What Type of Tea are you? You are Green Tea! Strong and very smart you prefer peace to violence and very rarely take action if it involves confrontation. But you make up for this with your keen insight and understanding of the world and people around you, you have a very mysterious nature. 	Tea...? surprised Ooh, cool lab with dissections. whee I touched a walking stick today. It almost skewered me with its antennae. gonk I was so freaking scared, I picked it up by its behind and was about to put it back in the jar, when I felt that it was soft, which made me drop it...
