Morning came early for Kuro. When he asked Anko about the previous night's apparent emergency, she looked at him and said that it was taken care of- to not worry and head for his final day at the academy. By seeing the bags under her eyes, he was pretty sure she hadn't slept at all. "You want me to make breakfast, or grab something on the way?" he asked, offering in his way to get her something if she wanted. "No, Im fine." she replied with a yawn. "Im going to take a rest soon anyway. Grab something filling and get your a** to class."
On his way to class, Kuro saw that most of the higher ranked ninjas of the village looked exhausted. The younger generation didnt seem to have any problems, in fact they seemed almost giddy with anticipation. He was wondering the same thing they probably were. Who were his teammates? His Jounin Sensei? Would there be another test? He didnt know what to do... what to think. What if Hinata was on his team? Could he actually deal with that? Kuro sighed heavily and stopped in front of the school's gate. He'd reached it while dwelling on his thoughts. "One last step Kuro..." he muttered to himself.
"Team seven... Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Sasuke." Iruka droned. Kuro could think of over fifteen things he'd rather be doing right now. Sure, it had been interesting at first, with Naruto actually having passed and then that disturbing scene between him and the Uchiha (he'd always thought that they were a bit off), but looking at the last few teams that had been made, they paired up people who would be able to make up for the shortcomings they'd seen in the finals. "Team eight.... Hyuuga Hinata, Inuzuka Kiba, Aburame Shino." Well, there went his last hope. Maybe he'd at least get someone who could actually do their job?
It had been three hours. Three, long, irritating hours before Iruka returned. only enough people for two teams remained. He new all five by reputation at least. Shira Tsunayoshi was a quiet one, known to have high scores, but disliked actually training. She was never seen without her headphones, which had spawned a rumor that she actually had no ears. Deryk Shin was an oddball. He was from some village far away, and had just wound up outside the village with multiple wounds. He constantly wore bandages all over his body, and was dangerous to cross. Personally, Kuro felt that it would be better to not have to deal with him.... Iruka cleared his throat. "Team Twenty-Seven. Shin Deryk, Tsunayoshi Shira, Mitarashi Kuro." Kuro knew that someone hated him, and as he left the class, he wondered how he had pissed off a Deity.
