Hey everyone. I'm quite surprised that I have enough time to write in this. This month has been very busy and with midterms and work I'm amazed that I can get anything done. xp Anyway, Yuka's been here for a few weeks and she is pretty cool. I have a better grasp on Japanese and she has a better grasp on English since staying with me. At least the polite style. Direct form is still eluding me a little as was seen in my Japanese class this morning. I had to try and conjugate one of the irregular verbs and I couldn't remember the last part of it. One of my classmates said that by now they would just draw a smiley face on the board and I thought, hmmmm. So I drew a little devil on the board and sat down. It was pretty funny and yet a little embarassing too. I'm going to have to study a little more on that, ne? Well, I'm just kind of passing time right now before I have to go and take care of some errands. I've been really tired lately. After I got home from work last night I completely crashed after helping Yuka with her essay. I didn't even make it to 10:30 PM. I know because my mother and I wanted to watch Jay Leno but that idea was tossed into the wind when we all woke up around 11:30 and decided we were just too tired and we all went to bed...and I remained on the couch. That has been my bed for the past three weeks or so. Not too terribly comfortable but it will do for now. I swear, whenever I get married I am not going to handwrite anything that supposed to be on invitations! On Monday night, I was helping Anha with her registry and writing hers and Wesely's name on about 400 registry cards. It took us a few hours too. I can keep the time because my mom was watching tv in the background totally enthralled with the Jack Bauer Power Hour. If any of you are not familier with that term it refers to the smash tv series 24. We went through two hours of 24 before we were done and our hands were about to break off because we were writing for two straight hours. xp After that we split and went and found food so we didn't just die right there at the kitchen table. That might have been a tad gruesome. Anyway, I should get going. Library is starting to fill up with high school people and their projects. Till next time people. ^_^ Love you all! heart
