The Advocate magazine keeps coming despite me having stopped paying them when my subscription ran out a year and a half or more ago. I keep weighing if they are improving or not. On the trans front it's been a few months since they've been out right offensive. This month's just came and I found myself fascinated by the careful wording of their little editorial thing on the anti-LGBT stuff going on in Africa. I am guessing a lot of people must have written in about last year's ongoing trans-fail, because I'm pretty sure a year ago they wouldn't have written that way. I'm curious to see if the rest of the issue is as careful.
