In related news, they had a trailer for Machete! OMG, Rodriguez actually lined up funding and actors! I thought that project had died, and I guess I missed the resurrection of it. They have unfortunately hired the odious Mr. Segal, who I'd rather sunk to obscurity on the grounds of extreme douchetude and lack of talent. Anyway, I'm wildly excited for Mr. Trejo getting top billing in something (I have a soft spot for him and character actors in general, so sue me) and it looks as wonderfully cheesey as we imagined it being back in Grindhouse. They even had the Cheech Marin stuff just like in the phony trailer.
