Waiting for you (a poem by me)
I wait for you in the shadows in this little house of ours. I wait for you mom on the stairs. Hoping at any moment you will be there. Daddy has gone to sleep. for along time you say. So tonight mom i wait for you alone like always over an over again. Please come home mommy for i haven't been fed. My eyes are growing sleepy but i cannot go to bed. Cause i know if i close my eyes i will be dead. Its been so long mommy that i have waited for you. But you promised you'd be there. I'm sorry mommy i'm sorry. But i can't stay awake no more. But mommy don't worry i'll wait for you i'll just be at heavens door.
