I remember being at Austin's old house and it was night time. A few relatives I didn't know were there and the usual four cousins were there too. I was just walking around in the living room area when someone suddenly tried to assassinate Austin. I witnessed it while no one else did. They left
evidence that they were hired to do so. I went towards Austin and noticed that he was going to turn into a zombie at midnight for some reason. And me being scared of zombies and stuff, really didn't want him eating us. So I thought that before he was going to do that, I would have to kill him first.
This wasn't my first time taking a knife out on him, but this time was serious. My fear got to me and I stabbed him in the stomach. This time, people saw me do that. They asked me why but I don't remember if I answered or not. Austin was just...smiling. I started to tear up with guilt. He wasn't going to die this way because the wound was too shallow. I didn't want to do this, but since I already started...I had to finish it. I stabbed him once more hoping it would be deep enough to kill him. He was still smiling. While I was just staring at his face in shock. I pulled out the knife, blood stained and all. His blood flowed out of his body quickly at first...and then slowly as it thinned out.
Everyone was confused. I was a murderer. And my cousin was dead. They all started to stare at me.
The guilt was building up at an enormous rate and I started to cry like there was no tomorrow. I kneeled to the ground with my head down so I couldn't see their faces anymore. After I was done crying, I told them about how someone tried to assassinate him before I did anything. I tried to look for the evidence they dropped, but it was gone.
Later on when it did become midnight, no one blamed me for what I did. Nor did they say anymore hurtful about it. At least no out loud anyways. To get our minds off of what had happened to Austin, my aunt - his mom - wanted to take the rest of the us three cousins out to see something. I looked around for my red vans and went out with them. In the car, we went somewhere really far and through some some places. I remember Nick saying something like 'you're a professional, you can't go through here' but she did anyways. I think it was some kind of checkpoint place that only certain people could pass through. And weird enough for an ending, this is where the first part of my dream ended.
In the second part of my dream, my cousins' parents had taken us to a really large mall I have never seen before. Of course, Nick and Michelle were there. And so was Austin. As I noticed he was alive this time and time had suddenly turned back, I was really happy. No longer was I a murderer. At least not that anyone knew of or remembered.
We walked around until we came upon a candy shop. I think Nick got some gummy bears, Michelle got some kind of spicy candy in the shape of a ball, and Austin... I don't remember what he got. I picked out some m&m's crisp - I don't remember what they're called. I eventually saw Wesley walking around in the mall too. I was surprised to see him. After a while, I went to go look at something and when I went back, I caught my cousins eating my candy. I was mad at them. Especially since they were MY candy. I eventually forgave them anyways.
My aunt and uncle wanted to leave now. So we headed towards the elevator since we were on the top floor. Out to the car we went, ending the second part of my dream.
Here at the third part of my dream, we were in a library/bookstore. It seemed like Michelle needed to get some kind of book. I of course, headed towards the manga section, until I saw a picture of something that really caught my attention, but I don't remember what the picture was. The book seemed like a large blue covered comic book. It was too high for me to reach, so I asked Nick to get it for me. He looked at the price. His face was filled with the look of 'what a rip off'. The book was really thick though. I check the back and it said there were over 2000 pages. So how could that be a rip off? Michelle was still looking for her book along with the help of Austin.
I turned around and saw a gigantic book probably as tall as me but the pages were thin. It had the usual logo of 'Panda Buffet'. I looked at it with an odd look. Why would Panda Buffet have a book?! And that big? I looked to the right of it, there were food wrapped up in plastic covers like the kind you find in asian supermarkets. I went over there and looked around because it made me hungry. I picked out something. Confused as to what I picked out, I asked Nick what it was. He said it was corndogs with corn to the side. I looked at it. There were no corn. So he picked out some corn that was dipped in butter and put it to the side of it. I asked him that wouldn't I have to pay extra for it? He said they wouldn't know. So I shrugged it off and went to where Michelle and Austin was.
They were struggling in finding the book. Her parents wanting her to hurry up now because they were growing impatient. Apparently, Michelle was looking for some kind of manga for some odd reason and asked me where she would find it. I asked her if they might have renamed it, so she would have to look in another section for the book. And so I remembered there was a book I wanted. I rushed over to the D section and looked for 'D.N.Angel'. And there was vol. 15 (even though there are only 13 out right now). The cover was silver and a picture of their rabbit-like mascot.
I went upstairs to go check out a book and buy the food and manga. I remembered that I didn't have my library card with me. The person said they didn't accept phone numbers anymore because it could be invalid. I asked if he accepted student IDs, and they did. Oddly enough, they did this so they could keep track of the research paper I was supposed to write with the book I was checking out.
After a while, the dream was getting slower and slower. I woke up to the sun in my face. I couldn't go back to sleep so I quickly texted Nick...
