Bio: The daughter of the Great Demon of the Southern Lands, and heir to the throne. Nozomi is a human and demon hybrid, or half demon as some would call her. At the age of five, the young half demon was accused of murdering her ailing twin brother, Nuozuko. Miyoko, the twins’ mother and the Ruler of the South, was so disheartened by her only daughter’s supposed actions that she disowned her on the spot. Sataiki, Miyoko’s younger sister and Nozomi’s aunt, forced Nozomi into her care, then promptly beat the vixen’s ways into the poor little half demon girl when she refused to learn on her own free will. Having enough torment and torture, Nozomi escaped three years later and ran until she couldn’t anymore.
That is when she found her father, Zuo. A human priest that went around helping people in need. He took his little girl in only to force her to live as his ‘human’ daughter. Zuo taught her the way of the priestess, ninja, geisha, and martial artist. (You could say that she was pretty busy.) At the age of fifteen, human Nozomi was placed under a spell to keep her subdued until her father returned from a battle with a certain Vixen Queen. That time never came. Some centuries later, the spell wore off and she had awoke from her slumber only to find out that she had returned to being a half demon once more. The villagers, feeling that their lives were at stake, attacked her as she stumbled out of her hiding place. She ran, and came across her old friend's descendant who told her that his brother and Nozomi’s father had been taken prisoner by Sataiki all those years ago.
After hearing that gut-wrenching tale, Nozomi vowed to avenge her fallen family members. Now the half demoness ventures across the land in her attempts to gain strength. Helping anyone that calls for her aid.
Weapon(s): Karite is her trusty weapon that had been passed down from her Mother, Miyoko. She is still learning of the powerful attacks behind it.
Death’s Awakening- After her death, Karite uses its dark essence to transform Nozomi into Death personified. The flesh melts from her bones and she is able to summon devilish creatures from the underworld to help her defeat her foes.
-Spirit Slash is the attack when Nozomi combine her spiritual powers with her demonic energy. Black streaks course through her hair showing that her human side is coming through. She focuses the pent up energy into her claws and slashes the opponent savagely.
-Seishinbyo Kanja Satsugai ((Psychotic Bloodshed)) The name actually suggests what happens. Nozomi slices herself open and then uses her telekinesis to control where the crimson mess goes. Flowing towards her foes, it enters their body through any open orifice. After which, her blood devours the opponent inside out.
Side: Good to the core
Other: Nozomi has split personalities that constantly bicker back and forth whenever the girl comes across a situation she is not entirely sure how to handle. One may find her to be insane as she tries to put her two sense in her mental argument. On the night of Wanning Gibbus, Nozomi goes full human, or at least that would be the case if she had not been a human for a number of years. Instead, it varies each month, or at until she meets another half demon that goes through their change. Then her night would be the same as theirs.
