Tears on the Petals of a Lotus
As I sit here, bleeding out my heart to you.
The tears come as fast as the pain, but it wont come to.
I remember that day, your last day with me.
You smiled and turned away, thats the last thing we did you see.
So as I sit here on this lonely bridge 1 year later its still a fresh wound.
With every breathe you couldnt breathe, that I could.
This black lotus I hold in my hands, gleams as though its covered in a solar eclipse
But my tears cause the shine, the things I should have said that I didnt
Thhe things we should have did but couldnt.
The words that would have passed my lips only a day later
but 1 day was a day too late
Just too late.....it shouldnt have been this way....
I....the reasons why everything is gone now....cause you were my everything
Dont ever miss the chance to tell that 1 person you love them with all your heart, because in just a nick of time, they could be gone...Live for today and not another day
because the one your living for may not make it that far....
