he snarled and lashed out at her neck. she jumped back quickly avoiding the steal trap. he layed there and whined for a couple of minuets but soon raised his head and looked at her. hackles raised fur on end she snarled and stared at him. her eyes soon reached the spot where she just injured him and she relized what she had done. fur laying down slowly she layed on her back belly up and showed submission. confussion spread in the black wolfs face for she had injured him he was supposed to be the one surrendering. she coverd her sleek white muzzle with her paws and kept her eyes away from his direct line of vew. slowly he raised his body off of the ground and letting his feet support his weight he looked at the she wolf turned and padded away. the she wolf raised her head and saw the male walking away jumping to her paws she yelled "so what the great black wolf is too good to finish the fight." the male turned and launchd himself at her pinning her with his weight, he glarred into her eyes and snapped " me finishing the fight you were the one who layed off and surrendered!" the she wolf stared in fear and anger for she saw his memories the killing he had done the slaughtering of their own kind and of the humans and the leira. noticing how close his jaws were to her throught . he backd off and looked at her his body shaking in fear he didnt want to become that killing beast he once was ever again. seeing his fear and seeing that he didnt want to kill her she looked at him deeply and thoughtfully she padded over slowly and licked his wound clean and rubbed her muzzle into his blood the was on the ground making her muzzle bloody. she looked at him and said "ill tell them i killed you and only me and you will ever know that it is a lie." she turned and padded off back to the clan she still didnt understand why she couldnt kill him. the black male padded over to the spot in which he pinned the female, he fell on the ground and rubbed the scent of her in he didnt think he should forget that smell. while both wolfs were heading in their seperate directions a small creatuer in the tree tops laughed under his breath and scamperd off into the other trees into the same direction as the she wolf "wait untill the drappa hears about this......
