* Am I only one who finds the old navy ad about women aspiring to be manikins creepy? Live =real dolls. Classy. Very classy.
* I am tired of the whole "chosen one" motif in books, movies, TV. isn't it more powerful and interesting when people choose themselves/ They can do it for the right or wrong or a mixture of reasons, all of which can have psychological and character development interest. I'm tired of prophesies, genetic engineering or whatever stealing agency from characters.
